October 2003

Back in business! Use our newly remodeled website to place your request for NEW OEM or Aftermarket parts!

October 2002

Well. One always hopes to make steps forward in any website. Unfortunately I cannot say that is the case here at PolarisMan.com. Due to some unforseen circumstances we cannot offer any new snowmobile related parts. We still have our parts request form where you can request parts from our inventory (we have many Polaris "parts sleds"). Maybe someday we'll come back online and provide the best parts site on the net. Til then, let us try to help you find those hard to find old parts.

October 2001

Once again, another redesign with a new backend, codebase, and many hours of work. I am hoping my hours of work will pay off by offering you an Online Parts Store that will attempt to fill your parts and accessories needs for your Polaris (ok..and other) snowmobiles. We have been in the "brick and mortar" business for well over 20 years and it's about damn time we rode this internet thing :)

April 1999

PolarisMan.com was born! Got up and running with ColdFusion 3.1 and have been running with it ever since. I tried my hand in design and, well, it wasn't too bad but a graphic artist I am not (programmer by trade and skill). I also launched "business" in Custom ColdFusion Worx which has one standing banner rotation application.

September 1997

Sure as sugar! I heard about this ColdFusion thing all over the place and decided to check it out... Boy was I liking what I saw! All the information on these pages are stored in databases and displayed with ease! Such an awesome tool! I was fortunate to get my start with a host for an excellent price. I was on my way!

November 1996

I wandered into the computer lab looking for something to do since I had an hour or so to kill before class started. Sat down next to a future friend of mine and was amazed at what I saw. He had an awesome looking homepage, and he asked if I wanted one! Really not knowing what I was getting into I said sure! So that day we picked out a home for my new page which was at GeoCities. Free and easy was a real good combination...

I'll admit, I did not know the first thing about homepages or HTML, but I had to start somewhere.. Hence P-man's Vintage Polaris Page was born! I worked on that page forever in that lab and it was great fun! But I tell you, it was a bear if I ever wanted to chance layout or look of the pages..I mean 20+ years with varying data for each model was a lofty goal... I knew there had to be a better way..
